Based on the
property of the Historic Longcreek
Academy, Chattooga Ridge Canopy Tours is
a 2.5 hour experience that incorporates
large towers, ancient trees, sky
bridges, and 10 ziplines into a soaring
experience like none other in the
Chattooga area. You will glide over 70
feet above the ground and take 4 flights
over Academy Lake as you learn about the
forest, wildflowers, historic Longcreek
Academy, and Chattooga Ridge region. Two
Canopy Rangers escort each small group
on a personal experience that is both
exhilarating and enlightening about
nature, history and yourself. Unique to
our experience is the ability to add
additional adventures in a package such
as our whitewater rafting trips on the
Chattooga River, canoe trips, or lake
kayak tours. Wildwater also offers
overnight accommodations, group meal
options, and a full ropes course all at
the same facility.
